Tangents & Thesis is a student-led, unhurried publication dedicated to long-form essays and niche intellectual explorations that sit between personal commentary and formal research. If you want to explore a topic that's never been fully considered before, or research a really specific interest of yours, then this is the place for you.

We publish two kinds of things: standalone posts, which are one-off opinion essays, research pieces or social commentary, and volumes, which are curated collections written by a handful of contributors around a shared thread.
